Music Camp provides additional instruction in music theory, vocal production and multicultural music education.

Music Camp offers students a chance to get acquainted with one another while continuing to work on repertoire and choreography. Students develop social skills and learn the importance of teamwork while participating in sports, and arts & crafts. Specialists provide broadened musical experience in drumming, handbells, composing, movement and other areas.

Intermediate Camp is optional and is available for students in Levels 2 or 3, Middle School and Boys’ Choruses and East County Level 2. Intermediate camp lasts approximately 5 days, and is held at the Silver Spur Conference Center near Tuolumne. Bus transportation is provided and is included in the camp fee.

No Intermediate camp offered in 2005

Advanced Camp is mandatory for Level 4 to help prime them for the volume and complexity of their music and their tireless, never-ending preparation for upcoming tours and performances. Advanced Camp packs in approximately a semesters’ worth of rehearsals in 10 days, and broadens the musical experience with the opportunity to work with specialists such as composers, percussionists, opera singers and dancers.

2005 Camp dates:
August 6 - 16
